
- Ingredients:
- 2 Alvita Ginger Root tea bags
- 1 cup quinoa, rinsed
- 2 cups water
- 2 tsp fresh ginger, minced
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Directions
- Boil the water, then pour into a glass bowl or pitcher. Add tea bags, cover and steep for 10 minutes.
- While the tea steeps, heat sesame oil in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add quinoa and fresh ginger. Stir frequently for 1-2 minutes until quinoa is lightly toasted.
- Pour tea into the quinoa and ginger mixture. Add salt and bring to a roiling boil.
- Reduce to a simmer and cover. Let cook for 15 minutes.
- Remove from heat and fluff with a fork. Add sesame seeds and enjoy!
